Amazon India Fashion Week Day 1 Look

Getting read for fashion week this time was so last minute everyday. On the first day, I had nothing to wear. Normally I plan ahead with my outfits, but we had a lot of family stuff going on that I couldn't really function and my clothes were the last thing on my mind. For the first day, in the midst of my yoga session (a few hours before I was heading to the ground) it struck me. I had one of my mom's vintage blazers from the 80's hanging in my closet and I thought why the hell not. What goes around comes around and has been so for a while in the fashion world. So I pulled out this gorgeous linen, double breasted jacket with padded shoulders and threw on a mini skirt and my outfit was done. For my purse, I chose this gorgeous Ralph Lauren Ricky bag in a camel colour (review coming soon) and I was good to go. Agreed, it wasn't the typical fashion week street style looks that get snapped up for street style photos, but it is a pretty easy look to put together for a chilled day out.

Since my clothes were relatively simple, I wanted to go all out with my hair. I headed over to Affinity Salon in GK-2 where their top hairstylist Naazish worked her magic and created a super fun look. She made multiple braids starting at the top of my head and then tied them up in a messy bun at the back. I couldn't get over how cool it looked.

What did you think of my day 1 look?
